MEDITATION

Several meditation techniques can be ideally fitted to synergize with psychotherapy. While some are more physical and others mental, all involve developing a special gift of mind, namely the magic of awareness. The art of meditative therapy resides in finding the meditative style that assumes the best personal resonance, so that the exploration of meditation’s promise is practiced with positive anticipation and pleasure. While meditative goals primarily remain health and physical inner balance, within its ancient traditions it has centered on opening channels to spiritual discoveries.
